  • Initial Consultation

    Initial consults consist of an in depth history, goal review, full assessment of the breastfeeding dyad, infant oral assessment, observation of a feeding with pre/post weights. We develop an individualized care plan after discussing all options and goals. 2 weeks of follow up messaging included.

  • Follow Up Consultation

    Follow up on previously made plan and determine if any adjustments need to be made. Another pre-and post weighted feeding is done and mom is supported through the process. If baby has had any oral ties released we will work on oral habilitation and provide parents with the tools to continue therapy at home. 2 weeks of follow up messaging included.

  • Back To Work Consult

    Discuss preparation to return to work, pumping, how to use your pump, how to trouble shoot and bottle feeding techniques for breastfed babies.

    Bottle consults include a targeted history, infant oral assessment, observation of a bottle feeding, Discussion of problems and instruction in bottle skills. We develop an individualized care plan discussing all options and goals. 2 weeks follow up messaging included.

We are currently Self Pay and in network with United Healthcare and Aetna

Home visits for insurance clients will require a $75 travel fee that covers all of Westchester and Putnam Counties.

Home visits outside of travel area will be considered on a case by case basis and additional travel fee may apply.

Under the ACA all plans should include available lactation support. Self pay clients will be provided with a Superbill and are encouraged to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Lactation Services are HSA/FSA eligible!

POLICIES

  • MASKING

    Your baby’s safety is of the utmost priority. I will be happy to mask in your home if requested and wear always gloves whenever touching your little love.

    I do not require my clients to mask however request that if anyone in the household is ill that you reschedule the consult.

  • FORMS

    Please complete all forms 24 hours before your appointment time so I can review them prior and we can better focus our time on your needs.

    I will communicate with and send a note to your Pediatric and/or Obstetric provider if you allow.

    Payment is due upon booking appointment. May reschedule once up to 24 hours before appt.

  • SCOPE OF CARE

    I am a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner however that is not my role with Little Love Lactation and I will not provide any medical advice outside the scope of an IBCLC. I will refer you to your OB or Pediatric provider as needed.
